The Guardian Angel Hospice interdisciplinary prides itself on providing the highest possible level of care to all our patients and their families. The members of the team are truly Guardian Angels to us, this community, and every single patient and family members we encounter.
I have been a hospice nurse for over 32 years. I graduated from LSU Medical Center with a Masters in nursing with a specialty in gerontology; I find great fulfillment in helping patients and their families with achieving comfort, dignity, and quality of life. I am the Patient Care Manager and one of the owners of Guardian Angel Hospice. By focusing on emotional and spiritual support, as well as physical comfort, we can provide comprehensive care to our patients.
I graduated from Tulane University with a Masters in Social Work. I began my work with hospice as a volunteer close to 30 years ago. I have always had the desire to provide support to hospice patients and families and chose to pursue my Masters in order to do so professionally. It is such a privilege to be of service to people.
I am a board certified specialist in hospice and palliative care medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care medicine. I have made home visits to patients for over 25 years, and appreciate the opportunity to make home visits for our hospice patients and their families.
I graduated in 2010 from Our Lady of Holy Cross University with a Bachelors degree in Nursing. I love working in the hospice field. I love getting to know my patients and their families, being there for them during such a difficult time, being able to deliver compassionate care, and being a resource for my patients and their families.
I graduated from LSU School of Nursing in 1995. I have been working with hospice patients and their families for over 20 years. I feel that hospice nursing is my true calling, and I can’t imagine doing anything else.
I have been working as a registered CNA at Guardian Angel Hospice since the company began in 2003. It is a privilege to provide hands-on care to my patients, and to support and educate our families so that they may better care for their loved ones. My hope is to lighten every visit with my sense of humor and optimism.
I have been working as an office manager and LPN at Guardian Angel Hospice since 2004. I employ a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and knowledge of hospice to ensure our office runs smoothly and efficiently. My devotion, respect, and passion for hospice supports that my work in the office and field will deliver to patients and their families high-quality, compassionate, and patient-centered care.
We offer volunteer opportunities for individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of others. Our volunteers provide companionship, emotional support, and assistance with daily living activities.
